Icestorm Enclosure

The 9m IceStorm Co-Rotating Dome carries a
list of features that allows it to meet the most
stringent specifications, while controlling
costs to maintain affordability. EOS is under
contract for the design, manufacture, and
delivery of four 9-meter enclosures for the Keck
Interferometer Outrigger telescopes.
The enclosures are manufactured from advanced
composites on steel framing, and are designed to
withstand the worst possible environmental
conditions on Mauna Kea, Hawaii. The modular
construction allows for transportation in
standard shipping containers.
