Site Development

We provide complete site development services, including facility design, construction management, and operation. Our experience providing turnkey observatories for astronomical, Satellite Laser Ranging (SLR), and defense customers gives us unprecedented expertise in this area.

Standard or custom telescope enclosures can be combined with our proprietary retained formwork construction system and prefabricated building modules to create a cost effective observatory optimized for your site.

Our prefabrication and assembly techniques reduce site time and cost and also allow advance fabrication of observatory components in parallel with permitting and other administrative procedures.

Ancillary equipment can be provided either from standard design, or customized for your particular application. Packaged part rooms and workshops, cooling systems for telescope thermal control, metrology sensors, including sky cameras, vacuum systems and light pipes for interferometry, ventilation systems, and mirror handling/coating systems are all available from existing design libraries.
