Southern Hemisphere Space Situational Awareness Observatory

In Canberra Australia, EOS Space Systems has created one of the few tracking observatories in the Southern hemisphere capable of improving orbit accuracies by optical tracking methods. Based on the ILRS laser tracking network methods, the laser ranging techniques have been successfully adapted to space debris objects. This Southern hemisphere station is capable of remote operation for a wide variety of space surveillance missions, ranging from astrometric examinations to orbital conjunction and collision analysis.
